The La Ronge Recycle Depot hosted its first-ever Bike Clinic on Sunday, June 30, 2024, and it was an incredible success! A special thank you goes out to the amazing volunteers—Drew, Andrew, Derek, Derek, and Mike—for their dedication and hard work. Mike generously provided tools, along with brand new tubes, chains, and cables, helping bring many bikes back to life.
Throughout the day, community members brought in bikes for repair, maintenance, and decorating. Volunteers and participants worked together to salvage and refurbish old bikes, giving them a second chance to hit the road. With a little TLC and lots of creativity, bikes were transformed and prepped for the upcoming July 1st Bike Parade.
We are also grateful for the many donations of bikes, bike parts, tools, paint, and decorations from the community. Your support made this event truly special!
